Our Story
Eldrath was founded by a group of longtime WoW players who refused to accept that Wrath of the Lich King was gone for good.
When official WotLK servers came and went, we decided to build something permanent. A server where players could return to their favorite expansion — or discover it for the first time — without worrying about shutdown dates, pay-to-win shops, or rising subscription costs.
What started as a French-language project quickly grew into an international community. Today, Eldrath welcomes players from across Europe and beyond, united by a shared love of WotLK at its finest.

Preserve the Wrath of the Lich King experience in its truest form. Keep the world of Azeroth alive and accessible to everyone, forever, free of charge.
Our Philosophy
• Blizzlike First — We respect the original design. Rates, mechanics, and content are kept as close to the authentic WotLK experience as possible, with only player-friendly quality-of-life improvements.
• Permanent by Design — Eldrath runs at zero ongoing hosting cost. There is no financial pressure to shut down. We built this server to last.
• Community Over Commerce — No pay-to-win. No predatory monetization. A server where skill and dedication matter, not wallet size.
• Always Online — Our Playerbot system ensures the world is never empty. Azeroth breathes 24/7.
• Accessible to All — English and French speakers are equally welcome. Our staff is bilingual and responsive.
The Team
Eldrath is maintained by a small, dedicated team of volunteer administrators and moderators. We are players first — we know what it feels like to want a server that just works, and we built what we wished existed.
Our staff is active in-game, on Discord, and via email. We read every ticket, every report, and every piece of community feedback.
